SXSW Takeover! Coolest Kid at SXSW 2014

Well I've officially recovered from a week long free food & booze binge and I'm back to discuss my SXSW experience. First off, shout out to all my readers and all the amazing people that links with me at South By this year, and to the familiar faces as well! Overall it was a great trip definitely a different vibe at this year's SXSW than last year but what would it be without slight changes. My what a difference a year makes! I can definitely say the young bucks controlled all the stages at this year's SXSW. It was all about the guys and gals that were making their name in the music world with artists like Migos, YG, K-Camp, and Young Thug making appearances. I can say Reese out of Atlanta reminds me why I enjoy his music every time I come to South by and see him. But you can't forget about they music game's heavy-hitters that blessed stages at this year's festival like Erykah Badu, Cam'ron, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, and last but not least Lil Wayne and Birdman + DJ Mannie Fresh sliding through The Illmore OMG WTF?!

Can't talk about SXSW without mentioning The Illmore at least once, of course it was a star studded event again this year with performances by Future, Young Money, Dom Kennedy, and many more! Even the Based God himself came through! Although The Illmore is the rarest and definitely the most hyped event of SX by far, I was really bummed that the old Illmore mansion wasn't picked for this years location, so many dope vibes and memories in that house from SXSW '13. But I applaud the guys over at Illroots and Scoremore for pulling off another successful week at SXSW!

Now it wouldn't be me without talking about the swag down in Texas. Props to Joe Freshgoods of the Dope.Boy.Magic Brand and 40oz Van they definitely hands down win the fashion award from me at SXSW. Wear a DBM piece this year and seeing other people in new and old items felt like and unspoken bond there was definitely a ton of DBM product floating around out there on 6th street. As for 40oz, if it wasn't one of his hats out there then it was a hat that was "inspired" by his creation. You know what they say imitation is the sincerest form... Speaking of fashion, I was lucky enough to be featured as one of the coolest dressed kids at SXSW by I can't tell you what other blogs/mags I made it to because I literally got stopped every five minutes about this look! The photo from the Racked article is listed here, of course, I am wearing Dope.Boy.Magic and my favorite AF1. I wouldn't be Flashy Foot without some gold hoops in my ears, so I paired this fit with my fave gold AK-47 bamboo earrings. Serving real New York hood chick vibez.

Stay tuned for more SXSW Recaps and footage from SXSW 2014! I ain't done yet! But for now keep checking back for more.

Until next time!
